Party on your mind? It’s bound to be. Bollywood producer- director Karan Johar recently celebrated his 50th birthday with a party that rivalled or even beat most award functions in terms of celebrity attendance and red carpet looks.
KJo, as he is popularly known, is one of the most well-connected people in B-Town and boasts of an enviable list of famous friends. That is why his birthday bash was expected to be huge, and it did not disappoint stargazers.
Seen at the do were most of the top actors and actresses from the industry, with the notable exceptions of Alia Bhatt who is filming abroad and Deepika Padukone who was on Cannes jury duty.

Kareena and Saif looked every bit the royals that they are. Saif was dapper in a tux while Kareena looked radiant in this silver number.

Preity Zinta, attending the bash with her husband Gene Goodenough was her usual bubbly self in a lovely, shimmery green dress, which happened to match the jacket worn by the birthday boy. Coincidence?
Shahid and Mira Kapoor always look great and did not disappoint this time either. Defying age, as always.
Aishwarya looked ravishing in a golden gown that she paired with a black jacket. Abhishek looked elegant in his black tux.
Jahnavi Kapoor dazzled in this jaw-dropping magenta gown with a bold slit. Hands down one of the most glamorous looks of the party.
Beyond the red carpet glam, the party was also notable for bringing together under one roof the 3 Khans of the Hindi film industry - Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir - although they were sadly not captured in the same frame anywhere.
